RNs and LPNs can perform any regularly offered service in addition to the senior home health care services listed below:
- Documentation of Plan of Care for In-Home Skilled Care (RN only).
- Assessment, Evaluation, and Documentation of Activities of Daily
- Living Plan of Care (RN only).
- Regularly report to the client’s Physician.
- Evaluation of client's physical and emotional status - (Any licensed
- care provider).
- Evaluation of the client's family and household to determine how they
- can cope and care for their loved one.
- Carry out the Physician's medical plan of treatment (Both RN and
- LPN) which may include but not be limited to:
- Monitor complex health conditions.
- Assistance with medical equipment.
- Infusion Therapy (IVs)
- Catheters
- Peg Tube
- Colostomy, ileostomy
- Tube Feeding
- Dressing Changes
- Wound Care
- Teaching about care (injections, suctioning, new diagnosis, etc.)
- Medication Management
- Trach Care
